I know this is probably not the best timing speaking about furs and faux furs, but this is life, the world is on fire (sadly somewhere literally :() and Couture is highest fashion after all, what would it be without some kind of luxury?
On the other hand it’s fairly good news, that even Fendi still uses real fur, the ecological and ethical pressure is getting bigger and more and more big fashion houses say goodbye in order to find some kind of clever alternative.
So also Fendi has started its own experiment in a pretty creative way, like sewing frayed narrow strips of chiffon so closely it could have been mistaken as real fur or maybe down, or sequins as scales, the idea is good anyway and the whole collection is beautiful nonetheless.
Baby steps I guess.
