So much good stuff, oh my, oh my… I really should inset a break from shopping, because I have so many things to wear and enjoy, it’s ridiculous. And the sales are on with full force… Ohh my….
ASOSThe heat has been kind of unbearable in London in the last weeks, so summer tops are a must, even if I’ve never been the biggest fan of them due to their skin flashing nature. However, I have to say I feel pretty confident about this Pimkie cami with shirred body and ties at the shoulder, so much so, that I already wore it twice. It’s very comfy, not revealing and even though it’s off-white, it’s also double layered in the front. Love it!
And then one more pair of pale jeans, because I cannot live without new jeans once in a while, no matter how much I love all my Re/Dones. This is the Florence straight leg pair and wanted to order it forever. Keeping of them was a bit doubtful first because they’re quite cropped (and this is the L30!), but I love them and perfect for summer anyway.
TopshopI’ve never owned a dungaree in my life, but I liked this one online so much (structured, wide legged, tortoiseshell buttons duh!), I had to give it a try. It didn’t disappoint. Having wanted them rather big then too tight, I went with size 8 and it was the right call. Only criticism I have that it doesn’t have back pockets, but the front ones are make up for it.
I wasn’t totally sure about this crop tee either, as I’m not fond of belly fleshing either, but again the heatwave can justify a lot of things and it’s great with high rise jeans which I live in anyway. I suppose, you can easily achieve this look with cropping an old t-shirt too, but I was lacking of those so this one was ideal.
Mango This classic breton stripe tee is from the sales and comes with a whopping 50% off, which is kind of amazing for a staple like this. It’s navy, which usually I try to avoid, but it’s very dark and looks great with the red embroidery.
Summer bag time! It’s not a secret that I’m a huge fan of everything non leather, except for faux leather, but that’s a different thing. The small bucket bag on the right came from Mango and it’s amazing even if it’s shedding like crazy, so not optional with black, but who wants to wear black in the summer heat anyway? On the flip side, it’s extremely soft and fluffy the kind of that you want to pet all the time. 🙂
The other (called Harper <3) bag is an improved, tan coloured variety if the very trendy net shopper, but it’s handmade and it’s from eBay (but also available here). It’s lightweight, big enough to held plenty of stuff and can be worn on the shoulder, but doesn’t drag on the ground when it’s handheld either, which is a bonus for me being rather short. It doesn’t come with pockets obviously, but nothing prevents you to put a pouch in it if you wanted.
MissomaAnd finally some more golden pendant necklace, this time the Octagon Medallion from the Lucy Williams x Missoma collection because I’m helpless and found it with some discount. Didn’t regret if for a second though.
What do think?
