Hi Strangers, it’s been a while. Sorry about disappearing like grey donkey in the fog, but but we had our brothers for a week and then time is just past so quick I couldn’t even notice. Of course I didn’t give up shopping, so there is a lots of things which are due to show, but I’m not complaining. 😉
When things are coming the same time you have to try them all at once, don’t you? I think that’s a good sign anyway. So, I’ve heard a lot of good things about Cinco, a Portugal jewellery brand and simply said, I couldn’t wait more to try them, even more so, because the prices are pretty good. I ordered Matilda (the hammered disc in the middle) and the Shout (the longest, crescent shaped one) necklaces and I love both of them, so I’m pretty sure it wasn’t my last order (#goldfever). 🙂
The t-shirt and trousers are from Urban Outfitters and there is not much to say other than I love a good band t-shirt (size S) and I gave up my jeans obsession for a minute to have these wide leg pants (in size XS) for some extra ventilation. They are full cotton and have a greyish navy colour with white stripes so what’s not to love?
Then couldn’t resist and had to buy this tank top (size S) in this gorgeous red colour, firstly because tortoise shell buttons (duh!) and secondly because I couldn’t give up my craving for red knits. When something has the exact right colour, right?
Another t-shirt (size S), but this time yellow and from the knotted variety. Urban Outfitters has one of the best graphic shirts and summer collections, fact.
It’s so good actually, that it even convinced me to try (and keep) this linen button down. It’s big and loose, not kidding, this is the size XS on me and it’s huge, therefore it’s perfect for summer with jeans or even as a cover up.
Bute back to t-shirts, after all, a leopard cannot change its spots. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Although this tee is a bit different for me cos it’s got some pink in it. Never mind it looks like it was washed on the wrong settings, it’s very summery and it’s a simple cotton t-shirt in a size 10 to have it oversized for £12, just the way I like it.
And speaking of leopards and spots, back to jeans as well. These jeans (w25l32) probably need no introduction as I have them in the lighter variety. I rarely buy the same things in different colours (nowadays) but if something is that good, you gotta do it anyway.
Three words: Flat. Straw. Mules. I’ll admit they’re quite overpriced, but on the flip side they look one of a kind and go with everything. Also, mules are probably the best type of shoes in our beloved British summer.
And then more jeans (w25l32), although from the coloured, wide legged variety. I really only wanted to try these, but fell in love with the extra high waist and pale tobacco colour so much, that I had to keep them. Only thing is that these are really really cropped which means the leg 32 is almost too short on me and I’m not tall, though I don’t like my wide leg trousers too short for sure. Best thing? They’re on sale!
I also wanted a thin stone coloured jacket for summer and found this number by Native Youth via Topshop (size S). Again, I wanted to try it cos i liked the style and the buttons again, but I’m not a big fan of the almost useless pockets. Girls need pockets! But in the end I fell in love with the extra soft cotton fabric so hard, I just couldn’t return it. Was a good decision though, I’ve been using it all the time.
And finally (told you it would be long!), new sunnies from Ray-Ban via Sunglasses Shop. Have I mentioned that I love Ray-Ban? Cos I do, a lot even if I haven’t used a pair for a while now. Cat eye sunnies came and conquered, but I wanted something different with a golden metal frame and a 20% voucher came pretty handy to justify. These are so good and pretty unique with this slight hexagonal shape, and speaking about Ray-Ban they-re great quality too.
So that’s it for now! Phew, this is the only problem with holidays, isn’t it? You have to work twice as much prior and after to catch up , lol.
What do you think?
