The sun is shining today, yay! It’s always a good start, but wearing and buying stuff is even more mood lifting (temporarily anyway), so lets see what I got on one of my last shopping strolls.
I wore this, and probably you can say how ‘lovely’ was the weather that day and that cheering for the sun is actually not an exaggeration. So lets see, Mango cap and jacket, Missoma pendant necklace, Zara jumper and Re/Done jeans, the usual suspects.
Ok this is something new, as usually I don’t buy things New Look, but I don’t know what or rather who (bloody influencers, right?) I headed in and pleasantly surprised about the selection and especially the prices. This oversized shirt for example, which is full cotton costs £20 which is great if you ask me, especially because it’s sporting the colour of the season, yellow. Didn’t buy it though, but only because I haven’t worn my new Uniqlo yellow one either, and I love that one too.
I bought this top, I think it needs no explanation given the button details, soft ribbed fabric and fetching price (9 quid, what??).
What I love the most about this yellow top is the cotton/modal blend fabric. I think we can agree on that most of these tops are made of viscose (better case) or polyester (worst possible case). It’s more like a t-shirt but with extra details like the buttons (duh) and tie in the front.
See the running theme here? I’ve been back and forth with this knitted tank top as it’s more on the pricier side, but then it sold out and I couldn’t stop craving about it and when I saw in the store, I couldn’t not buy it.
Also not sure how many times I passed by these Urban Renewal utility pants, even though I’m in love with it’s colour, templating that it’s again pricey and wide-legged. It only took a try to completely fall in love though. They’re a bit oversized, I guess some kind of mean pants got revamped, but I don’t mind that, and they have extra deep pockets plus a hammer holder and few extra pockets just in case I needed them.
And finally some toe ring sandals from the best edgy variety by Topshop. What can I say, they thick all the right boxes as they look suspiciously ATP like but for the fraction of the price. I settled on the black ones, but they also available in white and pink.
What do you think of these new purchases? Let me know.
