Yes, probably I don’t have to say, but my head is full with warm colours, especially with all the mustards and chestnuts, so lately I’ve been shopping by colour. If something catches my eye, I take a look without thinking, first wether I like the garment, second what it’s made of and thirdly what’s the price. Then, I’ll look for my size and, very excited, take it to the fitting room where I can take these lovely photos :D.
This is what I wore, my top half at least, so you can see my multilayering technique when was still very cold but I couldn’t wear winter coats anymore. So, I’m wearing an old H&M bomber, BDG jacket, Mango jumper and jeans and M&S hat and ASOS boots.
Maybe I shouldn’t have got these Lis jeans, because they very similar to the black ones I wore that day, but I did anyway, because they’re dark indigo blue, with white contrast stitching, and have exposed buttons and raw hems which make them different enough but equally cool and comfy nonetheless.
I’m also into the idea of upgrading my basically non-existent shirt and blouse wardrobe, so I tried this black number (in size M if you’re wondering why it’s so huge). It’s a lyocell shirt and it’s extra lightweight and flow-y and breathable, but unfortunately the quality wasn’t the best. :/
And if shirts, then it’s also blazers, cos I’m addicted to every kind of jackets from leather, trough denim, to blazers. This one is a bit different though, firstly because it’s a very lightweight summery one, but also because of this pale khaki colour. To bad this colour doesn’t do anything for me, because otherwise it would have been lovely.
Couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw this blazer in Westfield, cos it’s been unavailable online possibly from the minute it hit the virtual and real shelves. Basically every blogger has one and seems to love it, which I can understand, because it’s well made, and full linen for a quite affordable price, but somehow I didn’t feel it. I think it’s because I’m so much into double breasted blazers right now, this single one felt odd. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Do you remember this post and this shirt? I tried it couple of weeks ago, and couldn’t get it out of my head, so I went back to buy, although I sized up a size (to medium), to have it extra oversized. I’m in love with all the colour and the buttons, and cannot wait to wear it throughout summer when I can find out, how much pain in the arse is a full linen shirt when it comes to creasing.
And finally this knit dress from the U collection. OMG, I means it’s Spring in a dress, isn’t it? It really ticks all the right boxes with being simple, but also a bit extra (look at those 3D pleats!), it’s a nice pale yellow (but also available in grey, navy and black), it’s full cotton and reminds me of ancient Greek/Roman dresses which is always a big plus in my book. Oh, and have I mentioned it’s on sale right now?
And that’s it. What do you think?
