Let’s continue to discover the new spring/summer (but mainly spring because weather, duh) high street collections (round I is right here), shall we?
Brandy MelvilleOk, first things first; I have a slight obsession with Brandy Melville. Now granted, not everything there is for me, I cannot stand teeny tiny very cropped tops for instance, but there is plenty other thing to love, like this Jamie rainbow t-shirt. It’s super soft cotton, has a crew neck (standard) and has uber cool rainbow stripe going all the way around. How cannot love such an easy piece like this?
And who does not love good breton stripes? It‘s everything I like in t-shirts (simple, soft, comfy, a bit oversized, affordable) but the sleeves are long and the stripes are not navy, but black, yay. 🙂 Also, it’s made in Italy!
MangoThis is what I wore btw. As you can see, not very springy, but whatever. Hat by M&S, bomber by H&M, jumper by Mango, Re/Done jeans and Topshop ankle boots.
I was very intrigued by this jumpsuit, cos – wait for it – it’s full linen. And looks cool too. This is something I could imagine myself during summer, it’s stylish and breathable and have a thing for tortoise shell buttons anyway. But. And this is serious. It’s very see trough, especially on the back, so that put me off instantly. Too bad, cos there’s a lot of potential here. It was the try though.
And now something more me, although it’s very bright. A simple thin cotton blend jumper in this beautiful mustard colour (and size S). For only £18, such a bargain, isn’t it?
And then these jeans. OMG. I know, I know, but these are so freaking good, and this comes from somebody who not ashamed to spend so much money on Re/Dones and lots of other kind of jeans. I had something very similar years and years ago I wore to death, and I feel all the nostalgia, but these are made of thick (but also stretchy) organic cotton.
I only tried these shoes cos why not, but actually there is something in the shape that I don’t fancy too much. The colour is nice though and they seem comfortable as the leather is super soft and the heels are super walkable, but I think, I’ll go for something else I’ve had my eyes on for a while.
Urban OutfittersConfession; it wasn’t my intention to buy another jacket, but when I saw this one by BDG, I just couldn’t leave it behind. If the colour is not enough (it’s called khaki but it’s a very yellowy kind) there is also the contrasting stitching. See the pattern here?
And finally, the very first non black bag I like this year, other than my bigger tote which I use to school. Although it has no long strap, and it made me hesitant first, I love everything else in it, plus, these kind of bags don’t look so good on a longer strap anyway, but it’s aways nice to have options. Anyway, it’s a good alternative to a straw bag and it’s specious enough, but not too big, plus it has a zip pocket inside, which is a winner.
So phew, that’s it. What do you think?
