Last one from Milan, and how could I let it our when it is so perfectly colour coordinated? Warm chocolate brown never was my favourite colour, but I’m really coming around it, especially when it’s paired with other warm colours, like mustard or cognac.
But that’s only one side of the die, because there is plenty more to love. Secondly, the whole construction with all the unfinished, raw hems which make the collection perfectly structured and undone at the same time. “Each garment is built through an elementary construction, like the bust, the sleeve and a skirt stitched together in a primal way,” explained Francesco Risso.
And thirdly, all the (not so) little details, like swinging tassels or the statement making accessories, from the buttery leather goods to the structured jewellery. I’m not a big fan of the shoes though, or platform in general, but they also give something extra, a further pop of statement if you like.
Next stop is Paris, see you there.
