Because you know, spring is coming and all. After all, it’s the first of March even if the weather outside doesn’t show any sign of that. On the contrary, this photo I took recently says all…
Don’t get me wrong, I’m quite excited for the proper snow and all, but at the same time, it’s kind of sad. Anyway, back to wearing yellow, which I’ve never been a huge fan of, but since I don’t like wearing red with my coppery hair and I dislike orange in general even more, I was out of options when it comes to warmer colours.
So yellow stuff #1 is this big jumper I picked up in Topshop a few days ago. I didn’t mean to buy anything initially, but then I tried this one on and was sold in a minute. It’s huge (this is the size small) and chunky and cropped and has these giant sleeves and standing neck. Plus it’s yellow, but it’s more like a buttery one with colourful speckles all over it.
These huge turn up sleeves are the best, although, I have to admit they’re not the most practical for having a coat over it. Or, you know, like doing or eating stuff. But that’s fine.
And then yellow stuff #2 is these ugly/dad sneakers by Nike. Ok, this colour actually is classed as mushroom, but that’s kind of odd so I refuse to use. End of story. But mushroom-y or not, I love how neutral and interestingly/oddly strange and warm this colour is and how great it goes with most of my stuff in my wardrobe. Not to mention they’re very comfortable, but that’s a given, after all we’re speaking about not cheap Nike Air Max trainers here.
One more thing about the size before I go. For some reason, usually I need a half size bigger in trainers, so ended up ordering UK5.5 which turned out to be EU39, which technically a size bigger. I might have got away with my normal size, but we’ll never know, cos I couldn’t wait to wear them right away. My feet don’t slip out of them and socks are mandatory right now anyway, so I think, I’ll be fine. 🙂
And btw I want to wear them together. What do you think?
