It’s a total personal opinion whether we like something or not, but when it comes to clothing, wearable (and I mean everyday wearable), oversized = comfortable, simple yet interesting couldn’t be that bad. Especially if it comes in droolworthy colours like powdery blue or pink (though these are not my colours) and neutrals like beige, camel and black or white with the final touch of plaid or sneak skin (which are much better, for and on me, but who cares anyway).
According to Vogue and the designer herself, this collection celebrated freedom: “The naïve bravery and innocence of youth. It was all about a sense of hope, dreams and potential.” Well, if they say so.
One thing is for sure though. London Fashion Week is on roll, and if there is anyone who is desperate about Phoebe Philo’s (probably temporary) leaving from Céline, think again, there is plenty of exciting and fresh alternative. Alternatives, which we very much want to live our life in and with.
Bring it on London!
