I’ve got to the point where I’m quite bored with my wardrobe, so I went to my favourite places to look around. True that, the new season is upon us, but doesn’t matter how tempting warm weather clothing is, it’s still freezing cold outside that very much requires jumpers, (ankle) boots and such.
ASOSThe theme is clearly eye catching territory, probably cos I need some spice in my life, hence the leopard print and red jumper. I kept the bag and very happy I did so, cos this is my new going out bag and it only costs 32 quid. Also, the chain is adjustable, which I love cos I can wear it either as a shoulder or crossbody bag. I didn’t keep the jumper though, cos it just didn’t look so good in person and doesn’t matter how much I’m drawn to red, I just don’t like to clash it with my hair.
These cat-eye sunnies (what else?) were more like an experiment, but ended up loving so much that I had to keep them.
And then these boots, OMG, I clearly have a thing for leopard print recently, but I also wanted something flat, yet interesting, and although I’m not the biggest fan of pony hair, these booties and especially the print are just right and only £45 and also available in black leather and pretty much in every (half) size and (wide) fit.
Here is a full look with my new Topshop blouson jumper, which again full acrylic, but I love it so much that I don’t care. And now it’s on sale for £25!
ZaraSince wearing red is a little tricky right now, I eventually settled with this green oversized jumper from Zara. I love the slightly yellowish colour and how amazing it goes with my golden complexion and jewellery. The only slight problem is the fabric, as it’s wool blended therefore a bit itchy, especially around the neck, but I hope it gets better with some wear.
Cat-eye sunglasses number two, cos spring is coming, right? What can I say, I couldn’t resist the tortoise shell frame, but they’re also available in simple black and they come with a pretty case and pouch. Well done Zara!
TopshopYeah, I have a slight Topshop problem lately. This cable knit jumper, though it’s from the Tall section, is the right fit on my rather petite frame, as it’s still cropped enough for a mini tuck. The only thing surprised me is the darker than it seems in the stock photo colour. Or maybe this one is special, and I don’t mind.
The jeans are called the MOTO Bleach Raw Hem Straight Leg Jeans (phew), and I couldn’t wait for them to come back in stock, so if you want a pair, go there right away, cos I don’t think they would long last. I had bought my normal size but the ’32 inch’ length and cropped a slight bit for myself.
The boots are also from Topshop, called Midnight, but they’re an old pair via eBay, so there is no link here (sorry). I’m not sure how I could miss them last year, but I did. Luckily enough, I could hunt down a (barely used) pair in my size on eBay, and I absolutely love them.
And here you have it, hope you liked it, but let me know. 🙂
