First things first, I’d like to address I know about the scandal just happened not so long ago and find it very inappropriate to say at least, but also, I wanted to feature this collection, because – stupidly used, hurtful words aside, I like to give credit where credit is due. She is a skilled designer with fresh, interesting ideas, so please lets focus on that for a moment right now.
After all this, it’s actually harder to say anything nice though, even if I’m not among those who have the right to be upset, more like shameful, but on the other hand, I want to believe that – naively or not -, she didn’t have any bad intentions.
Also, if you know my blog, you know that I don’t feature every show, only the ones I like or see interesting/amazing/provocative, and believe me when I say, I checked every show photos, and I’m very much struggling this time. Most of them are the same old, same old, lacking of creativity or way more art than clothing therefore hard to digest, aren’t they?
But this. It’s so good, so different, yet so beautiful, it’s very difficult not to love. And, actually we don’t have to hate it, but it’s a shame we couldn’t discuss only because of its beauty. So why Ulyana, why?
