Even though I used to wear red (as you know already) I have less and less of it, not because I don’t like it, but because I feel it’s not a good match with my hair anymore. I’ve got very conscious what colours I wear since I started relearning refreshing the colour theory which is a bad and good thing at the very same time.
Don’t get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with red, I just need a specific type of it, called tomato red which is more on the orange-y side, but not orange, even though it’s not lost on me that some languages don’t even make, thus cannot really see difference between the two, so I’ve heard at least. Anyhow, I find it very difficult to find this specific shade, especially with the right fit, size, quality, price.
So until then I wear bright full red on my feet instead, in the form of these stunning Topshop suede numbers I got last (last) year, in 2016. They quite festive, I think like the more feminine version of Santa’s boot, plus add a nice pop of colour and femininity to my otherwise very simple, neutral and almost grandpa-like outfit. š
