It’s not often, I feature only one brand, but when the offers were so good at it and I couldn’t find anything else or new in other shops, this situation happens. Also, Uniqlo is one of the bests when it comes to basics and I could cover quite some.
This is what I wore; BDG corduroy jacket, Mango jumper, Weekday jeans, Topshop bucket bag and Zign ankle boots. Have to say, I was a bit afraid of the versatility of the my bag, but I shouldn’t have, because it absolutely goes with everything, moreover, I quite like the lack of black and the pop of cherry. 🙂
Great offer #1; an off-white cotton (95%) cashmere (5%) blend jumper for £15. Don’t mind it’s pretty oversized, it’s a medium, cos I like my jumpers oversized anyway. It was a totally accidental, but gloriously happy find.
Great offer #1.5; this shirt is part of the UUU collection and I’m not even sure it was meant to be for men or women, not that I would care. My eyes were drawn (naturally :)) by the nice rusty colour which is classed as wine and what I herewith refuse, as who would like their wine in this exact colour? Anyway, this is the small size, purposely oversized and extra soft for £35, which I find as a pretty good deal.
Great offer #2 is this JW Anderson x Uniqlo dad jumper, which I still can’t believe I could get, and especially with 50% off (for £20). True that, it’s not full wool, but it’s a really nice fit and I love every detail. When I was in Westfield, there was still few size available, even in green and navy, so I’d really encourage you to try your luck if you like it as much as me.
And finally this full cashmere polo neck jumper in camel, I’ve had my eyes on for a while. I love this and probably £70 is the best price on the high street, but it feels a bit itchy. I read some comment online, and it seems I’m not the only one who complains about it. Something has changed with the quality and I got unsure. It may get better with time but I really don’t want to experiment with it, especially not for 70 quid. Rather spend a bit more (I think M&S has cashmere jumpers for £75) or I might get something similar from eBay, not sure yet but you’ll be the first to know.
Anyway, apart from the cashmere jumper I can say it was a pretty successful trip to Uniqlo, and I think my winter wardrobe got sorted more or less, although I’m sure, I still want a new checkered coat. 🙂
Let me know what do you think!
