New month, new items in, God bless payday. 🙂 Lets get started.
Vans Sk8-Hi Classic (via Amazon)Even though my ankle boots are my favourite kind of shoes, it’s such a good feeling to buy new cool trainers once in a while, isn’t it? Especially if that pair is so proven comfy as Vans trainers. Now, I say proven, because I have the low top version, called Old Skool and those are one of my comfiest shoes ever from the very first moment. But as the weather got chillier, I suddenly felt the need of a high top version, an ankle boots style if you will. I have some experience with the classic Converse high tops, but I ended up selling those and didn’t want to make that mistake again. On the other hand, I’ve resisted these, because, well, I have the before mentioned Old Skools. Until a few days ago. Great decision, I have to say, have been wearing them non-stop since, even though it’s not the easiest to pull on my high arches, meh. Btw, this pair is from Amazon (price is better there) and I went for a half size bigger than my normal.
BDG corduroy jackets by Urban Outfitters Probably it’s needless to mention how much I’ve been loving corduroy for a while, especially in my preferred warm earthy colours and some retro vibes, like these jackets. Urban Outfitters is one of the best when it comes to aforementioned vibes, and although it’s not the cheapest for being from the high street, it’s well worth the price. So much so, that I bought two of them, which is big, because I really try to not do that anymore. But these are sooooo goood. The colours, western brown and beige are spot on, the full cotton fabric is incredibly soft, the fit is great. Actually, after some consideration I had to buy them in size XS, because they are so huge. Freaking love both of them and they’re a very good alternative to my beloved biker jackets.
Marks & Spencer Captain HatWent to M&S to pick up some No VPL knickers (so good) and thermal vests (so soft) when I saw this cap hat and tried without thinking. Now, I don’t know about you but I have a hard time to find good hats, even though I prefer them over umbrellas, either because they’re so huge or because my head is so small (this one is debatable) and they cannot bother to make more sizes. But this one has a little elastic band section in the back which makes it more suitable. It’s still a bit big, but the best what I could find so far. In black at least.
Glamorous Baker Boy Cap by ASOSBecause then I found this khaki version on ASOS, and thank God, there is two size options (S/M and M/L). This is, obviously, the smaller one and fits perfectly. I also like this is more like an all year around version, while the black is more wintry. And yes, the fabric is synthetic, but it’s really nice and soft and again, I love the colour. I wish they would make more clothing in this exact light and warm khaki colour, but for now, I’m very happy for this. 🙂
