Probably, at this point, I sound like a broken record, but there is nothing I can do about it, and frankly, I don’t even want to. The thing is I am who I am and I love everything warm and earthy right now and also feeling very very inspired by them, so when I see something just right, I don’t think twice about it.
Ok, this is not entirely true in this form, because I tried to give a second thought of these Zign booties, but when I kept going back to the site again and again and the 5th time approximately, the deal was sealed. They can be returned if I wanted anyway.
The reason of my temporary hesitation was mainly my love/hate relationship with non-black shoes, especially in this brownish shade. You might remember the brown Vagabond boots I ordered about a year ago, which I wanted to love and actually loved, but after not wearing them once, I ended up returning them.
And yet, here we go again with these similar pair, this time by Zign, a brand, I’ve never heard before. But when I got them everything has changed. They really thick out all the right boxes for me with the not too high block heel, round toe and side zipper, not to mention these are full leather inside and out with a reasonable price.
I know, suede is not the most practical fabric in the world, but I love it. Always have, always will. I prefer it over any kind of leather, even though there is some leather and (cognac!) colour combo which I also would love if I could find them.
And then a new pair of jeans, which I don’t need and bought anyway. I’m such a great costumer when it comes to sales, and what’s even worse aware of it, yet, I cannot resist a good deal, which this time was 20% off from these Levi’s Wedgie jeans in the colour Rough Tide that is such a nice vintage like mid wash only Levi’s can do. They’re not on sale anymore (the darker was is!), but if you’re new to Zalando and sign up to their newsletters, you can get 10% off. I warn you though, this rabbit hole goes really deep.
Anyway, I tried a similar pair before, but then I went for a bigger size and had to return them. Also I know this is stupid, but I didn’t order the smaller size, because I didn’t want to risk, duh. This time I had more self-confidence tough and as it turned out, i was indeed a moron, because my usual size fit like a glove, thanks to the 1% of elastane in them. Being more petite, the length is also perfect for me, but they can be a problem for taller gals. Now I want every pair of jeans with this exact length. 🙂
What do you think?
