I call it mix & match, but in reality this is the case when you put on whatever you see first in your wardrobe and also it happens to suit the weather. Marie Kondo’s mantra, – only keep what sparkles joy to you – can totally make sense after all.
The starting point, like in most of the cases, was my jeans, these new over washed/bleached Re/Dones as I really wanted post them on the blog too. These are so light that they’re almost white, so make a perfect contrast with darker bits, like black boots, or a dark grey/washed black oversize tee, without being white, you know.
Not sure, why I don’t get along with white on my bottom half, but probably it has to do something with the closer to the ground, the bigger is the possibility of getting spoiled, especially in a rainy metropolis like London. I don’t know about you, but usually I have enough on my plate to deal, without constantly paying attention of the dirt factor of my environment.

The same goes to the boots, I love the look of white ankle boots, but they’re really a pain in the arse, so I noticed myself reaching for these snake print ones instead, not to mention these are super comfortable and didn’t get soaking wet in Paris this spring either, which is super as we were outside most of the day in the monsoon like rain.
Given the transitional season (yay), I topped this outfit this Topshop jacket (shaket really, but I hate this word, brr). Much needed layer when the weather gets chillier, but still humid. And then the usual accessories, like cat eye sunnies and Balenciaga City bag/.
Also, I really wanted to mention, how much I’m obsessed with this green tile wall on the last pictures, I could easily imagine something similar in our bathroom, now just have to convince my husband that it would be perfect. 🙂 Fingers crossed.
