Scandinavian Fashion Week is gone, New York preparing, can you believe it? After Copenhagen, Stockholm showed us what’s the whole fuss about, but to be totally honest, this time, I didn’t like its offerings that much, which is kind of weird because otherwise, I’m usually a big fan of everything Scandi.
Maybe it’s just me and the fact I love fall/winter collection much much much more. Anyway, we (serious fashion people) cannot go by Stockholm without a word, so I checked all the collections (here btw, it seems Vogue UK is more interested in the Duchess’s third pregnancy, but who can blame them? I mean, 3 kids in just a few years, wow.) and picked my favourite, which, this time is Whyred. Hands. Down.
Fits and silhouettes are not so interesting by themselves, but with the colours (and colour combos) and fabrics, the whole collection is pretty mouthwatering. True that, the overall picture is not too summery, but firstly, we’ve kinda got used to that, and secondly, why the hell not, if it’s much cooler and also goes better with the retro feel which was clearly the aim here? Also, two things are sure, suits (along with ugly trainers) are going nowhere and checkered everything is still the best bet no matter the season.
What do you think?
