That’s right, it’s not even the middle of August, which means we have one more month left from summer season, and yet stores are stocking up with some really good stuff for autumn. Most of them are better for the transitional season naturally, but the rest is already pretty heavy, like some wool coats for example which btw are quite die for, hence they must be here.
I’m not sure what to think, I’m certainly not over summer just yet, but at the same time I’m pretty sure that buying anything summery is total unnecessary, plus I feel the merch pushing me to get ready for the colder season. And I have to say, they’re winning, because I’ve always been all over for THE FALL season. The layering possibilities, the heavier fabrics, the more mature colours, oh God, should I continue? I think I shouldn’t.
So I did what probably I shouldn’t have, I spent some time with online windows shopping and I’m seriously in need (ok this is not true obviously but you get it) some of these things, like a red jacket, burnt kind of red shoes, basically anything checkered, black straight jeans and – drumroll please-, a leopard shirt, especially with an over-lightened jeans like those on the model below. And yes, everything red, burgundy, black and beige, preferably together.
I think I have to pay a visit to &Other Stories, which is not good news for my bank account, but I’ve got a feeling it would be even better for my (new :)))))) wardrobe. Ok, this is not true either, our rather tiny wardrobe is full already, dammit :(. Sigh…
What do you think? Have you started the new season shopping yet?
