I’m not in a mood to go shopping just yet, but that doesn’t prevent me (window) shopping online. After all, I cannot have enough summery stuff, even though I live in London. Whatever, when it’s hot it’s unbearably hot here, and then (if that wasn’t enough justification) a long weekend trip to Budapest is coming too. Yey!
I like ASOS because it’s affordable, pretty fast, the shipping and return are free and there’s a dozen of filtering option so I don’t have to see those suff which I ‘WANT’ but there is no size or out of my price range. My only wish is including one more option to filter fabric or something, because I’ve had enough of all those cute but full polyester dresses. Duh!
So speaking of summer dresses. Having filtered down everything first with ticking boxes, then with my own eyes, I ordered two dresses. Ok, Actually I only ordered the blue one, (by Brave Soul) because ASOS tempted me with next day delivery. Anyway, I didn’t expected this, but I completely hooked on that dress. It was on sale, for only £14(!) and it’s made of thick cotton/elastane fabric. Surprisingly, I love the colour too. Even though blue is not really my colour, it seems I get along with this medium purple-ish one.
Now the floral dress is called ASOS Mini Tea dress and I loved it has a full back and short sleeves. Why I sent it back eventually was because I didn’t like it on me. I ordered size 8 but should have bought the 6. I’m not sure, it wasn’t that big, but just meh. Also, I think my mother ruined floral prints for me when I was a teenager, stating my dress was too granny like. It still hurts…sob, and probably she doesn’t even remember that, lol :).
Moving on. I’ve been eyeing with these Falia sandals for months. Now I pulled the trigger, and I’m very happy I did. They’re £20, full suede and pretty comfortable. I ordered my usual size and it fits perfectly. They’re also available in black or white, so they would be great for that mismatching shoe trend if you know what I mean. 🙂
And finally. I also wanted a new bandana. I’m saying new, because I remember I used to have a red one when I was a child and I loved it. This one is by Reclaimed Vintage (for £6) and it’s full cotton and has polka dots, which really pleases my hunger for everything red and lost and found rockabilly style in the best possible way. I have a lots of ideas how to wear it, this is just a few of them, but we’ll see what really happens. I’m intrigued…
How do you like my new buys?
This is not a sponsored post btw, I paid for everything and all the thoughts and options are my own. 🙂
