Nowadays it’s a really rare occasion when I go shopping, but a week ago the temperature was pretty good (for shopping I mean :)) and I wanted to look around anyway. After all sales and everything, not that I’m so intrigued as you will see, usually I don’t have the patience or the will to fight for clothes which I couldn’t bother when they were new.
But first things first. How cute is this little wicker bag? Not on sale though, but it costs £24 anyway and that not that bad if we consider not just the instant French woman vibe, but a potential decoration for home. I went forth and back whether should I buy it, seriously, I went back two times at least, but eventually I left it there. It’s adorable and super cool on Jane Birkin, but probably a bit too cute for my edgier, oh so practical style.
Or there is this pom pom bucket version. On one hand it can be worn as a shoulder bag and it’s lightweight, but on the other, again, it’s not too practical. Le sigh… I think I should try something else.
Oh btw this is what I wore. 🙂 Topshop tee, Re/Done jeans, Balenciaga City bag, my new, really cool and red Supergas and mac from Sainsbury’s, lol. Anyway it’s the best when it comes to rainy days which is not so impossible here in London or Paris for that matter. 🙂
I tried on this paper waist pants which were super (stretchy) comfortable, but why, oh why so short? I mean, I’m not a tall person and felt a bit odd. If you’re even more petite, they could be a good purchase though. Colour was super nice as well.
Ok, I had to say I went in every usual shop, but couldn’t find anything exciting. Not even one, which would have been worthy to mention. But, and this is rare, because I’m not a GAP person, I’ve heard good things about it and wanted to have a simple white shirt for a very, very long time. It was my only reason to go there, but still.
And it turned out a good advice/decision, because I found this one, which is called boyfriend fit, and it’s really, freakin’ good. Also, it’s 100% cotton, a bit see trough, but nothing bad. I think it was on sale, because when I checked online, it cost more, but nothing indicated in the store. Anyway, for £29 it was a good buy. Oh, and if you’re like me in between sizes, go for the bigger size, it’s more boyfriendy, but not extremely big. 🙂
Do you like it?
