I think it goes without saying I feel most in my element when I wear something like this. Simple colours with some pop of red, tee and jeans, a bit of rock and a bit of chic. Comfortable yet edgy.
Today I saw a women wearing a simple grey cardigan and when she looked at me I immediately thought how happy I am for this camouflage shirt I’m wearing more than I can count. And I don’t say there is a problem with simple cardigans. There’s absolutely no problem with them whatsoever.
We’re all different, and that’s good, moreover we should embrace this diversity even more. Which brings us again to the topic of personal style. The personal style which can be worked out by lots of consciousness and experiments. Lots of trial and error.
Although I’ve been trying for years I still make a bunch of mistakes. I see stuff on others thinking I need that in my life. But I don’t. I’m very well aware that pale blue is not my colour, still cannot stop looking at those shirts. It’s not (only) my fault though. The perfect stuff is very hard to find and temptation is so big when you can’t find anything else.
There is only one thing we can do; keep learning and resisting. Comfiness and cheap price are not everything. Not even quality. That thing you intend to wear daily has to suit your (life)style and colourings too. But at least keeping all of this in mind helps filtering among the endless offerings around us. And when you find the one, you will love it forever and ever. We really should appreciate those moments more.
All that said, I’m so grateful to find and but all the things I’m having/wearing. I hope I can keep wearing them for years… I’m really at my happy place right now. 🙂

I know it’s such a first world problem, but everybody has to handle their problems on their own level of the Maslow pyramid, and after all, this is a blog dedicated for style and fashion, isn’t it?
