It doesn’t get better than old classics. Or any kinds of red. Especially cherry red for the summer (and a darker red/burgundy for winter :)). It’s always been one of my favourite colours (alongside green), but if I had to choose one to wear, that would be definitely red.
First of all, I’ve had these trainers so long in my mind, but something always put me off. Either the price or the season, they are not the best for winter when they’re usually priced down. But now I found these red Cotu Classics on Amazon on a pretty good sale, so I thought why not?
Actually wanted and ordered the full white ones first, but I always have to realise two things; 1, white is not the best with my pale skin colour and 2, it creeps me out how they would look after a couple of wears, not to mention that white canvas is difficult, if not impossible to clean. Don’t get me wrong, I still love it on others, but it’s just not for me I guess, and since I have a thing for red anyway, I exchanged them for these. Love how they look with denim, and cannot wait to wear them.
Secondly, this knot front midi slip dress by Topshop. I remember when a few months ago I saw it in grey, and I loved the dress, but not the colour. Then I saw it became available in dark floral (and lots of different colours) which is so trendy I love it very much, but then again, this tomato red one the best possible option for me.
Wouldn’t change a thing on it. Ok, I have to say I went with size 8 and it’s a slightly bit snug on my chest, but a bigger one would be too big. No selfies today, sorry, but I wore it already (outfit pics and post are coming) and it’s so good. The fabric, the knot, the keyhole, the length, the buttons and slit, seriously everything. The price is not bad either for £36, so I only can recommend it, and that’s a big thing from a girl who lives in jeans.
What do you think of my latest buys? Let me know.
