I haven’t been so enamoured by stars on the red carpet of Cannes so far, especially compared to last year, but it seems finally they’re warming up, and getting more and more gorgeous outfits, and there is still a few days to go.
Lets start with Emily Ratajkowski, who was charming both at arrival on the airport and on the streets of Cannes. Probably I would have tied those shoes across, but she looks nice and cool nonetheless.
My total favourite is French actress Isabelle Huppert, who I never heard about before the Oscars, but luckily this has changed, and now I’m a big admirer of her. Not just her awesome red hair but her overall graceful look and style as well. I really would like to look like her when time comes. Le sigh…
Olga Kurylenko in Elie Saab Couture (dreamy gown with pockets!) and probably water nymph Elle Fanning in Gucci.
We also had Bella Hadid (naturally) and she looks nothing but amazing in this Roberto Cavalli Couture sheer mermaid dress, while Charlotte Gainsbourg shows her best features (those legs!) in Saint Laurent.
And of course it couldn’t be a big even without Kendall Jenner who presented one of the most memorable (not so easy to pull off, but she easily nailed it, duh) looks so far. First in this Alexandre Vauthier Couture one shoulder train top (I so told you so :D) and secondly in Giambattista Valli mini with similar one shoulder and train.
But this second look wasn’t amazing because of the dress, not only because of it anyway, but because of those sheer socks! Now tell me who else could that pull off so effortlessly? Good job Kendall (and Kendall’s stylist, whoever you are).
Who is your favourite so far?
