There are some days, when you just don’t care. I mean at all. Some days when practicality and comfort come above all. And that’s fine, we’re all human after all, and let me tell you nobody has ever stopped me or insulted me for being to comfortable. Actually, people can spot when you feel good or miserable in your skin and this leads to a never ending circle on that day, but that’s fine too, everybody has that.
This particular day for example I felt ill, but I promised my hubby to go for a short walk, and so did we. It was grey, cold and windy and I couldn’t hate it more, especially when we should wear more summery clothing.
Anyway, if you can not defeat it, ride it, so I went with the most comfortable and warm outfit possible, even though it meant I had to reach for my
blanket bomber jacket and two not so thin, vintage layers underneath it.
I was a bit optimistic though, thinking if I got too hot, I would tie the shirt around my waist. I didn’t have to. On the contrary, I should’ve worn a big ass scarf and even a hat. And longer (white? :)) socks, but this was/is my only reminder summer is somewhere around the corner (is it?).
To make myself even more comfortable, I simply tied my hair into the simplest and messiest pony tail and wore my face as natural as it humanly possible which means no makeup or last minute adjusting whatsoever with some whothef*ck cares attitude.
So this is my recipe and couldn’t recommend it enough. 🙂
Bomber jacket – H&M, shirt – vintage, jeans – Re/Done, trainers – Vans, bag – Balenciaga
