What can a girl do when spring refuses to be with us in May and that girl refuses to wear wintry clothes? That’s right, mix and match with a tons of layers. And keeps whining about it, but that’s a different story (is it?).
I wear here a simple white tee, that super cool bodice and wool blazer + scarf along with long jeans and ankle boots. And most of the time it wasn’t really enough, but luckily(?) we spent most of the time commuting and YOLO anyway.
On another note; usually I don’t care about politics, at least not here on the blog, but after Brexit and the US election we received some good news from France, and I think it’s worth to mention. I’m pretty relieved just now, but lets see what Macron does/can do for Europe (and France of course) in the next couple of months and years.
Until then we still can hope and also we’re gonna face a new snap election here in the UK as well, even though the main result is pretty obvious already. No wonder, when there is no (good) choice at all… and here we are again. Sigh… Ok, no more gloomy politics or dull weather! Lets concentrate on brighter things, like clothes for example.
After all it’s a pretty good self defence and not just because it’s a good distraction, but because it works like a statement armour. Slight 80s feeling? Check. Man repelling pointy fiery red boots? Check. Manly blazer? Yep. Feminine corset like bodice with the greatest jeans? Check and check. Everything I need in order to feel good in my own skin, ready to tackle whatever may come. Now that’s a positive message, isn’t it? 🙂
