Now, I’m well aware everything I write about complexions and matching colours, believe me. Furthermore, I know black or white is not the best for me, but when it’s so difficult to find well made, affordable clothes in nice and most importantly suitable colours… Plus black and white are so easy to style, that sometimes I do it without thinking.
Actually that’s the good thing with these bodices (bralettes, tops, I’m totally confused); they go with everything and anything. So it would be easy to wear a colourful tee underneath it, but where – oh dear God – where can we find those tees?
Let me write an example. My husband is very into these funny graphic tees which you can find a lot of places (eg: Camden Market is one of the bests, if you’re a Londoner). The other they we were strolling around the City and bumped into this little shop full these kind of t-shirts. He picked up three of them, even though he’s wardrobe is full with them already :). No fuss.
My eyes got brighter when I learned there was a section for women as well. After all, I could go with countless colourful, funny tees, but guess what. There was not a single simple tee there. Just dresses and other pretty feminine piece clothing, which I can not even recall anymore, duh.
I looked on the internet without success, and here we’re, I’m moaning again that I have nothing to wear. Ok, that’s not true, actually I have plenty, but you get my point. And I don’t want to start on this grey, cold weather, which could require colours in theory, but i’m not in that mood, get it? Ok, I’ve finished.
Anyway, my point is; if I’m so stuck with all the neutrals of the colour palette, I’m gonna spice up these things with the brightest reds, which turned out have the very same hue, which is what if not very intended so? And I feel much more balanced now… 🙂 haaa…
Leather jacket – Mango, tee and bodice – H&M, jeans – Re/Done, sneakers – Nike, bag – Balenciaga
And I wasn’t sure what to write in this post in the beginning…, who knew there was so many things deep inside? 🙂
