Well, maybe I don’t like shirts so much, but I love this red check lumber one tied around my waist for sure. It’s the best transitional layering piece, it’s cool like this, or – as it was meant to be -, could become as an extra layering piece on chillier nights.
I already started thinking about buying a green one, when I realised I wasn’t in the mood, especially because, although it’s pretty useful – my mind is full with spring/summery inspirations and outfits ideas.
Also maybe it’s just me, but I find green quite hard to style. I couldn’t imagine a green shirt with either this or my black leather one, and I’m not so confident with a denim jacket just yet. A green or blue one would be great, but it’s so difficult to find nice and affordable leather jackets, I’m kind of lucky I found this one…
…which almost lost the other day, while was strolling in Zara. I tried things on (without using the fitting room, because it’s so full all the freaking time) as per usual, and left it somewhere. Do you know that feeling when your whole stomach starts burning? Yes, that’s exactly I felt.
Luckily when I started looking for it, I noticed it at one of the sales assistant. Phew… Thank God for this easily recognisable (and beautiful :)) colour. Only lesson is; always be careful with your stuff kids, and try to buy vivid colours if you’re so silly like me (duh)!
