There is something truly astonishing when spring hits London. Although the biggest trees have a mentality to use their time and hence they’re still bald, the smaller ones are ready and full with fresh leaves and/or beautiful blossoms. Also because of the oceanic climate – I guess – spring feels pretty long lasting, what’s not a problem, when you like clothes and getting dressed in the mornings.
On this particular day we had no less than 25 Celsius (at peak) and felt so summery, now, even though it’s around 10-15 again, I stored away all my more wintry stuff and refuse to wear something thicker than leather jackets (with lots of layers if it’s necessary, but still).
I wore double denim again, but sometimes even the denim jacket felt too much, which was a great opportunity to flash this vintage tee again. It’s crazy how soft the fabric is, so much actually, that I don’t want to wear non vintage t-shirts anymore.I paired it with these ultra great cropped jeans by Zara and to make it a bit more ladylike and summery these Topshop, almost Chanel like slingback shoes and pompom basket bag. If a great straw/jute basket doesn’t make your outfit summery I truly don’t know what does.
The last addition was my cat eye shades, which are great with everything and not just because the frame is kind of neutral, but because it’s a great match with my hair colour. Not to mention their cat eye shape which also goes well with my purrfect personality. 🙂
Denim jacket – H&M, tee – vintage, jeans – Zara, bag and sunnies – Mango, slingbacks – Topshop, watch – Daniel Wellington
Have a great weekend!
