There is more and more summery goodies on the high street, and I think it’s better strike now than later which probably means never. I made this little selection (previous ones here and here and also here) about what would I look for the next time.
Tops: Basically the same white t-shirt is available at everywhere. It looks nice and effortless if you want to give a try to the corset trend, alternatively you can go with the bustier/bralet one too. Ok, I’m a tee kind of gal, but there’s some shirt and blouse out there too, like this blue gingham one at H&M.
Bottoms: Ok, those Zara jeans are not exactly new, but I love them so much, I think they’re really worth the price, and actually I’m thinking about buying an extra pair, you know, just in case. Other than that what picked my interest is that mini tapestry skirt with frill and floral (again from Zara) which means more trend in one cool item and these H&M paper waisted khaki pants, because these are the best for summer when it comes to trousers (duh).
Dresses: I need I good dress (actually I always do, duh again), and I’m eyeing with this grey one from Topshop. Although the colour is not the best with my complexion, the fit and material look extra nice.
Shoes: If you missed the lace up ballerinas last year, you can catch up with these pair, which basically look the same, but they come with multiple, removable lace ups, which give you even more option to style them. Other than that here is some Mango espadrilles (still thinking on them) or nude woven slippers, H&M leather pink slippers or Topshop Zebra printed ones. Yeah, I love slippers, and a girl can never have enough shoes.
Bags: If summer then woven bags! I’m planning on doing a more detailed post about these actually, because even though I’ve had this one for years now, I still feel the urge to buy a basket one. But until then here is a bit warm-up from Mango and Zara.
Hmmm, I think we can say, this season is about soft pastel colours, there’s nothing here basically which can’t go with the other, which is pretty cool. Put on your shades, maybe a hat or statement earrings and you’re set.
