Maybe it was a bit early to wear denim jacket at the evening this time of the year, but I couldn’t help myself and I liked it with the rest of the outfit anyway. It makes it more casual and less girly, not to mention the plus colour which is a pretty good match with the red boots if you ask me.
Of course I had to underlayer it with ticker jumper, so I went with this frilly-girly turtleneck number from H&M (and a few extra layers from here and there under it :)).
At this point I’m not sure, how many ruffles is enough or too much in one outfit, but you can barely see it on the jumper, so I think it’s fine.
This outfit is also a good example how can you use more than one trend at the same time without being too forced. Let me see, a denim piece, this time a jacket which is as classic as trendy. Ruffles and gingham on my micro mini skort (can you believe 3 months have passed since New Year’s Eve?) and red boots which again just can’t be untrendy.
The key is the monochrome base I think with a lots of black, which leads me to the point, I’m never not going to love black tights, and it doesn’t matter you want to pair them with either boots and shorts or sneakers and skirts. Not to mention the ‘not freezing to death’ or ‘I remove my shoes because it’s a house party and I only have strange socks’ factor. They just work. Period.
Also here is some pictures of my makeup, and new earrings. Not the best pictures, I give you that, but this is what I have. My brow pencil is my newest obsession, and I’ve never knew I needed one in my life, but apparently I do. Period again.
