When it comes to Fendi, I’m always on the fence, probably because I’m not in the target audience, yet, I admire Karl Lagerfeld’s seemingly endless creativity and the amazing craftsmanship overall. I would accept a Fendi bag – the By The Way please – without hesitation though. It’s nothing less but beautiful.
Anyway, all I want to say is, I’m not a Fendi woman, so usually I don’t care too much with the collection other than checking it out at least once for the sake of fashion and what was mentioned above, but this one just got me. It’s not that frilly-blingy what I would usually expect, it’s more simple, but has all the nice little accessories and details, and all the astonishing colours, like vivid red, burgundy, royal blue and beige, most of them straight from the ’70s.
Like the prints and crochets, which both go great with the thigh high red boots, the strongest point of this collection in my eyes. These killer booties perfectly compliment on everything here, all the tweeds, patent coat(!), shorter hemlines or longer but sheer ones, without being tacky and make a really strong, memorably case for this collection.
Who thought crochets will come back so desirably?
