I don’t really write about going out looks here, and the simple reason for that is:
- usually it’s too dark at that point obviously,
- I (and we) totally unwillingly simply forget it.
Not this time though, so here you are. 🙂
We were invited to a birthday party, so I went with a bit dressier, yet really me and somewhat casual outfit.
Let’s go from my boots, ok? If party then something nice but comfortable. Like these patent booties from Topshop. They have some not too high block heels so they’re pretty, edgy and comfy at the same time.
And I wasn’t me, if I didn’t wear one of my jeans, so that’s what I did. I wasn’t in the mood to wear plain tights, and it was too cold for fishnet so cropped jeans seemed a great solution.
And the dress, this really nice black velvet dress by Mango which I scored before Christmas to wear it either for the Xmas party or New Year’s Eve, but again it was way too cold in December and something else always won over this dress.
Plus my beloved husband (the meaning of my life and flower of my garden :P), is not fond of it, I have no idea why (he says because of the loose sleeves btw, pffff), but at this point I don’t think there is one piece in my wardrobe which he would love. But I dress for myself anyway, others tend to like what I wear usually, and I don’t like everything in his wardrobe either, so we’re cool, I guess. Are we Hun? 🙂
I also managed to take some selfies (:D) of my makeup. Because it’s a thing I’m doing now. I think it turned out pretty good. What do you think?
Bomber jacket – H&M, velvet dress – Mango, jeans – Re/Done, boots – Topshop, bag – PS11
PS: It’s not the best to take pictures at night, sorry about that. 🙁 Next time maybe you’ll see the details too.
