It’s amazing to see how people change with age. Victoria Beckham, who was known about her posh style, tight mini dresses and sky high stilettos, dressing more and more comfortably. Moreover, she wants to dress women comfortably. Empowering them how she put it. Because she knows at this point; it’s much better when you don’t feel bad about what you’re wearing and you can focus on whatever you wants.
These thoughts came to my mind when I saw the collection first. Or how she is dressing nowadays. Softness, warmth, loose fitting, long hems, easy to match colours, or one-pieces when you don’t have to think at all, you just put on that knitted dress on the morning with some shoes and you’re ready to go. Sounds great, doesn’t it?
Of course it wasn’t VB if the details weren’t important. The cuts are beautifully made as per usual, theres’s some cut outs here and some modern art as inspiration there. And the accessories are mouthwatering too. All the knee high boots, especially the burgundy ones, the high gloves which know I kinda feel I need in my life though spring is coming. And the vanity bags, which were inspired by her collaboration with Estée Lauder. Actually I’m always wondering how practical these kind of bags can be, but they look fabulous nonetheless.
She’s getting better and better, doesn’t she?
