And back to Stockholm and back to reds, but this time dark and rusty ones, combined with Swede minimalism as its best. And by minimalism I mean mainly dark neutral colours, edgy leathers and sharp cuts with raw stepped hems and zipper details. Again, nothing really new on this front, the most interesting part again is the whole raw vibe around it.
I could draw the whole Vetements/Balenciaga whirlwind into this (yet again), but I mentioned and explained so many times before, that I won’t bore you with more details. It is what it is and we like the before mentioned designer in chief, so I guess it’s fine. Plus this isn’t the last case probably, this is more like the new direction in fashion, such like monochrome minimalism was few years ago.
Personally I’m happy burgundy is sticking around, I also adore ankle boots, leather stuff and extra long sleeves and I have an awakening thing for suits too which will be more an more on the streets. Just wait for fashion weeks, especially after NY, when we will be able to see more than huge puffer jackets and layers on layers (have you seen the weather there?, it’s crazy, I tell you).
What do you think?
