I love jeans, you know that at this point, but actually I love my leather pants too. I couldn’t imagine my wardrobe without it, and yet, I don’t wear them as often as they would deserve(?). Leather pants are easy, ok they don’t work that much with leather jacket for me, but they can make edgier anything else, from chunky knits to hoodies and wool coats.
Plus they’re black, which means they seriously work with anything and everything. Right, jeans too, but this time I wanted the focus point on these light pale grey Topshop boots. So I went back to the good old styling trick to tuck the legs in (skinny fit, right?), and no I didn’t feel bad or boring or ‘old fashioned’ if I can say so about something which was a huge trend a few years ago.
Also I firmly believe this purple sweater goes great with these boots, even so if you can’t see that much, it’s there under my bomber jacket. Ok, the scarf was a bit over the top idea considering the original idea of the focus point, but for God’s sake I don’t have any other scarves. It’s a shame really, but I refuse to buy a full black one.
So when it’s cold outside, you just go with whatever you have, and not totally out of the whole styling idea. Maybe a purple or burgundy scarf would do, but it’s so hard to find a nice one in these colours, isn’t it? Don’t answer, it is, I tried. I won’t give up though.
