Along with red and green burgundy is one of my all time favourite colours. Or shade as it’s not too far away from true red if we think about it, and yet, it’s so different, so rich, so deep, so gooood.
And luckily it’s a forever classic at fall and winter time, so it’s not difficult to buy a thing or two in this shade at the moment. What I did with not one but three jackets (two of them on sale), a puffer one for the minuses, a bomber for every day and a leather jacket for times when temperature is ready to rise a bit higher.
I wouldn’t mind a nice leather bag or/and a nice pair of ankle boots either, but I’m afraid it’s not on the horizon yet. Although I ordered a pair of snake skin boots (see them below in the montage, last picture) from Violeta by Mango and I was really tempted to keep them, eventually I had to realise they’re not the best for the £80 price tag. Not quality wise for sure (they were really stiff), also I think I would prefer a longer (existing?) shaft.
Anyway, maybe next time (which possibly next fall or winter), until then I keep dreaming about these Celine, Louis Vuitton and Balenciaga bags (in black too!). Why, oh why is so hard to buy nice, practical and affordable bags?
Do you love burgundy as much as I do?
And it’s Friday, yay! Have a great weekend!
