When it’s so cold, that you can see it from the pictures. Sunny but crispy cold which came so suddenly that probably it is the main reason of one of my worst common colds in my life. Now it’s a bit better, but I’m still living on paracetamol and Strepsils.
I had to realise – when it comes to England’s weather – the rain is not the worst. Actually I don’t get the fuss about it, yes it’s raining but not so much and hardly all the time. The not so warm summers and mild winters are even better. What’s the worst, for me, it’s the sudden temperature changes which I just cannot follow. And probably just few can as lots of people are sick at the moment.
Anyways, this crisp cold weather was great to wear my not so new, but haven’t worn yet puffer jacket by River Island. It’s a great jacket in this proper winter weather, even though it’s pretty short. Nothing what an extra leggings/tights or longer knitwear couldn’t solve though.
I paired it with a total light greyish ensemble, as often do when it’s so beautifully sunny out there. Lately I don’t really wear black or just one piece here or there and it feels so good. Not even simple black boots, which is quite the surprise and probably the first ever.
And if non black boots, this pale grey pair is so comfortable. The leather is so nice and delicate like it would be a pair of socks really. Topshop really has the best boots ever!
Puffer jacket – River Island, hoodie and ankle boots – Topshop, jeans – Re/Done, bag – PS11
Now I have to run to my newest writing course, it’s so exciting, I cannot wait.
See you soon!
