London’s weather is seriously confused right now. I mean, I know the winters are mild here, but this above 10C seems a bit exaggeration. And there’s no climate change? – I ask from all the sceptics around the world. So then what’s this? God’s little whim or what?
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t like to be cold and in general I like mild spring and autumn weather (if exaggeration, sunny would be even better, but I’m not insatiable), but it feels so wrong when trees blossom on the middle of December. Plus last year happened something similar and summer arrived so-so-soooo late (wearing bomber jacket and leather pants in the middle of June?), that I’m still in kind of a delay when it comes to my mood and dressing habits.
Anyway, here you have my mid December (early) spring outfit. Probably it’s just the power my mind, but I refuse to wear less than a bomber jacket and ankle boots. It’s still winter time, soon Christmas and New year or what for God’s sake.
And this commute – as I think you guessed – happened in the evening when the (not so visible) sun goes down and temperature starts dropping…
Sorry about the whining, but this question troubles me all the time, plus there is the practical reason; I can be the biggest fashion junkie in the world, and yet, I cannot really ignore the weather. Oh well, I could but I’m
not that stupid more reasonable than that I guess.
On another note; I seriously need another scarves. I love this one, but it doesn’t go with everything. But oh boy, it’s so difficult to find a good one, especially when I cannot make up my mind what I want to go with. Something checked probably? But that’s a pattern again, duh… I think I need to sleep one more on this question.
Bomber jacket – Topshop, jumper and ankle boots – Zara, scarf – Mango, jeans – Re/Done, bag – Proenza Schouler, belt – ASOS
On the other hand, looking the bright side of this beautiful life of us, I have no problem in the denim department… 😀
PS: Could it be more colder but sunnier? Pretty please…
