And here we go again. Can you believe it? I’m not over the actual trends yet, moreover, I’m enjoying them the fullest, but here we have the newest pre-fall collections. The ground collections which play as important role in fashion world, as if not even more important than the ‘main’ collections from fashion weeks.
This is an easier thing though. It’s easier in the sense, these collections weren’t designed for the runway which means less bling, bells and whistles and more wearable, everyday clothes. Which is admirable, isn’t it?
First of all, let me present you this Altuzarra show, which is a pretty big deal as I’m not a big Altuzarra fan girl. But then again, what’s nice that’s nice, and inspiration can come from anywhere really. What got me here though that’s the well-measured, but not boring balance. I guess this can decide wheter I like a collection or not, no matter who is the designer. Yes, I adore good balance.
What’s working here for me, that’s the contrast between the sharp tailoring and gentle pastel colours and different floral prints which go so well and sooo interestingly weird but still good together. These are so feminine and yet strong looks that any woman could wear them easily and proudly. Plus – on a more practical note -, you can never be too grateful for the body lenghtening illusion of a well made tone-in-tone outfit. Not to mention those lilac boots which really put the cherry (blossom) on the top.
Who knew some lilac floral boots can work for me so well? In theory at least…
