It’s the last day of the month, which means one thing, the next piece of my Best of…. series. Are you excited what happened? Ok, lets see them in order.
Phew, where should I start this? So, lets start with the easy part. It’s autumn, really, really autumn in the best possible way. Ok, we’re over the time changing at it gets dark really soon, but that also means cozy nights, curling up with a book and/or a hot cocoa on the couch, and that’s a nice thing to do. It also means a lot (I mean a LOT!) of new inspiration, streetstyle from the streets and new clothing at brand, and it always feels sooo good.
On the other hand, there are many things which are taking place in my life too, like starting a (journalism) course, going to the dentist (and therefor not eating properly in the last days…), having career and life support, Halloween and going out or having guests, trying to be more open with people (introvert, remember? :)) and fitting even more into our Londoner life. Moreover, we might start learning French too. And all of these things inspire me even more to dress up nicely and/or uniqly. After all, London can handle a lot of crazy stuff. 🙂
What I wore:
Well, jeans. New jeans, but not any jeans, but the coolest vintage Levi’s and (if that’s possible) even cooler Re/Done Straight Skinny and High Rise ones. Seriously cannot wear these enough, they go with everything. Not that a leather moto jacket or bomber would be so difficult to style, but still. On the flip side, I really, really have to buy new fall/winter appropriate tops, because I have nothing to wear underneath my beloved outerwears and to my way too cool jean selection. On shoe front, these Zara sock boots were the best cheap buy for a long while.
What I bought:
Not too much actually, but that’s not even neccessary if those things are so good and desired for months. Just those freakin’ tops though, duh, but next month (which means from tomorrow, ok, from the other half of the week :))
Fashion Week S/S 2017 RTW:
Paris!!! The best of all! Still the best of all with all the big and hyped brands like Saint Laurent (with new designer), Chloe, Off-White, Dior (with new designer), Loewe, Balenciaga (with Demna Gvasalia), Celine, Valentino (with just one designer :)), Stella McCartney and Louis Vuitton. A lof of super nice collections and lot of change which we were excited or a bit afraid about, but luckily most of them turned out just fine. Which is good news for everybody I guess. And if I get a little time, I promise, I’ll do my summary post, where you can see all my thoughts placed in one trendy system.
So phew, lot of good stuff, maybe this October was even better than September, which makes me so excited about November. Wish me luck with buying new tops, and don’t forget to follow me on Bloglovin, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest, whatever is your preference.
