Just a quick post about what I wore today. I had to take care of some things, like changing batteries in my old watch, going to the bank, checking the stores for tops (just because I was there :)) and picking up my altered jeans (but more about this later).
I’ve just arrived home and didn’t really have time to make a ‘proper’ post, but I thought, maybe you would appreciate this impromptu what I wear on a taking-care-of-some-business-in-the-city day, so here you have it.
Nothing fancy, but a bit more polished than the things I preferred recently. And comfy of course, comfort is always the key to a long city run. Good old basics on the top (I really need some new tops, duh!) and new catches on the bottom (And I really should stop buying jeans and boots). Story of my life I guess. Not that I wouldn’t love these things (all of them), but still.
By the way I really enjoy the arrival of colder, but still sunny autumn. Yes, not so long ago I learned appreciating summer, and the fact that you can leave your home simply and fast, aka without a tons of layers, but the thing is, I love layers and soft, warm clothing. A good cashmere jumper and a big soft scarf really adds to that luxurious, comfy feeling which you could conquer the whole world in. Sigh…
And if the top is simple, then the shoes must be fancy. The look at least, maybe these are the cheapest things in my outfit (yes, really, shocking, isn’t it?), but they’re pretty deceiving. Glitters, they do the trick, or again is that just the magpie coming out of me? Anyways, I love how they’re gleaming in the sunshine, love a good catch.
