I’ve always had this thing with shopping countless (ankle) boots and pants, it’s no exaggeration to say; these are my bread and butter. Actually it used to be true quite literally; when I went to college and had no money at all, I rather spent my all my pence (well, forints) on clothes, but mainly on these particular bottom covering pieces. Lot of water has run over the Danube and Thames since then (as we say it in Hungary), and however, I have more money now, my priorities haven’t changed a bit.
Brandy Melville Pink Floyd band tee
Ok, so there is one exception top-wise, but this is a simple tee, so it doesn’t count so much, does it? And the thing is I wanted to buy this tee already some weeks ago, but when I was on my way to the cash-desk, the fire alarm went off, and everybody had to leave the store empty handed. But this time everything was fine so I could pull the trigger.
There’s one more confession to make, I’m not a big fan of Pink Floyd – here you have, I said it – but since the text is barely noticeable (on the front) and the light/prism/rainbow print and the back text (the dark side of the moon) are insanely cool, I went with it. And there’s no regret here. Actually this is a rare example that my hubby loves too. 🙂
Probably you now this, but the reason why I don’t have any fitting room picture is that there’s just one size from everything at Brandy Melville, so if you have usual or smaller size, can’t really go wrong, this is a tee, they’re good, anyhow and it was my second attempt to buy it anyway.
Zara ankle sock booties
And I haven’t mentioned the (summer/fall) season change so far, when this thing is increasingly true, and I always have to start with boots. Now In have my brown booties finally (which are still waiting to be worn), and I stumbled upon these sock boots with an unpredictable and unbeatable price, I couldn’t resist when I saw these black ones either.
The fit and price are identical, but not the colours or the mood. While those glittery ones seek for attention all the time, these ones represent low-key simplicity with an extra cool detail, having non-glittery, but shiny black fabric upper and lucid heels. Lucid heels! I’ve never-ever had boots with lucid heels so far. I remember when the Margiela for H&M collection hit the stores few years back, and one of the main thing was a bootie with this kind of heel, but I didn’t have the money, nor the patience/strength/determination to go there to fight for it, so I stepped over, but this time I didn’t have to think twice.
On the other hand, I managed to take some pictures trying these boots. 🙂
Re/Done High Rise Jeans
I know, maybe I’m insane, but I was (I am actually) so in love with my Re/Done jeans, that I had to buy these High Rise ones too. The free ongoing shipping option and 10% off discount (by Farfetch by the way) gave me no choice :P. So they arrived few days ago and believe it or not, they are perfect again (I ordered my usual size). I cannot put into words how happy I am. I’m over the moon! And now there is no barrier (ok, I have to cool off a bit I guess :)) to write my experience with Re/Done, so stay tune, it’ll come shortly. 🙂
And finally some sneak-peek wearing my new jeans, yes of course, I had to wear them right away!
And now, as I have the perfect booties (those Topshop platform ones are still in my head though!) and even more perfect jeans (which BTW go fantastically together), I really-really should buy new tops as well. Seriously, save for one or two older options, I have nothing to wear on the top. And what’s even worse, I have absolutely no idea what I want and should be looking for. Probably I’ll start with H&M, but only at the beginning of November. I have no money left, but selling my non-used clothes pretty industriously on eBay, I’ll be fine soon. If you’re interested, check out our eBay right here. 🙂
