Lot of fabric, this is the best (and shortest) description about the show, where we couldn’t see too much skin or figure. The result is amazing anyway with all of the often asymmetrical proportions, interestingly layered materials – like somebody would’ve put a matching skirt over pants, or extra long sleeved shirts over dresses -, frills, big pockets, ruched and ruched and even more ruched details on the bodice and sleeve(s) of the plain or floral printed dresses.
It was almost like Greek goddesses went down the runway with all the white and cream colors and big golden earrings, but of course these pieces were really modern at the same time, having yummy looking leather bags and matching white or grey pointy shoes instead of sandals. Everything is just fabulous. Marni has been doing great stuff lately!
It seems one shoulder off is the new off the shoulder, and I’m really into it, are you? 🙂
