When I think of the Olsen twins’ collections there’s one word which instantly comes to my mind; saltless. You know, like a soup what has everything good in it, but still, something is missing. Or staying with the topic, a traditional Moroccan carpet without the floral motives. It’s not bad, actually it’s far from that, and we still can admire plenty of things (the cuts, the fabrics!), but it could be better too.
How? With some colors or prints I think. Or with some nice jewelry or bags. Something, not so bare minimalistic. I chose the featured pic for a reason; it’s my favorite from the bunch by far. It’s a bit traditional, it’s a bit modern, has layers, prints and all. It’s still minimalistic, but exciting too.
And that’s the exact reason why I’m writing about this collection. The potential. The Olsen twins have the potential, they have interesting and unique style and sure, they can (and usually do) create amazing things. Maybe next time they’ll do.
Do you like salt too?
