Is it better than playing tourist where you live? Ok, of course vacations are great, but you know, there’s no place like home, when you can sleep in your own bed. 🙂
So finally we lived by our chance to go to the Tower in courtesy of our friends. Hi guys, thank you once again for the London Pass cards. Because here is the thing; London is great, (almost) all of the museums are free, but in the Tower they want us (tourists) to pay 25 quid per kopf. That’s 50 total if you’re with somebody (and c’mon, who would go a place like this alone?). Not to mention full families, however I’m kinda sure, there are some concession for children.
Anyway, when we arrived to London last year, we started to visit all the famous places (except for the Tower due to the above mentioned reason, we looked at it from the outside though). Then we got the cards last summer and decided to go places (this summer :)), which are not for free, but still interesting. The Tower came up first and the London Zoo right after it.
Actually we were a bit worried we had to hurry all day, as they’re pretty big and not close at all, but guess what, it was great. Not too much, but still enough experience for one day. And we decided going quite late, as bad weather was promised, which was clearly a lie.
About my outfit: it needed to be practical and comfy, and I decided on a pair of jeans, vintage tee, my tan bag and my comfiest shoes, the Nike Roshe Runs. I have to say I love the tan leather bag against this – what kind of color is my tee? – t-shirt. Oh, when fall is coming…
The pictures from the Zoo are coming soon! Prepare to cuteness overload! 🙂
Have a great weekend!
