Lets continoue with F/W collections, shall we? When it comes to Spanish high street fashion, Mango is my ultimate favorite at he moment, hands down. Yep, it’s even better than Zara, me thinks. Especially because Zara is seriously overexposed right now, isn’t it? Yes, it sure is. But at least we have Mango instead, so lets see those clothes. Warning! There are some really drool worthy piece here.
Ok, it’s a debate actually, whether a military velvet jacket and a maroon ruched sleeve blazer count as outerwear, but I’m going with it anyway.
If you’re not so into leather moto jackets, but have a thing for leather, here is your thing. It’s black, it’s leather, it’s long, but not too long. Love it. And again, a denim jacket. Even though I’m not so keen on denim jackets and wearing double denim in one outfit, there’s something in some styles which I adore. In this case probably the boxy shape and the rips all over it. And they’re also super cool with leather pants. (I still would choose the leather coat in a heartbeat, but that’s just me).
You must have been living under a rock, if you’re not aware of the hype over velvet. I think it’s the most pushed trend. Why? Don’t ask me, but it’s fall and it’s nice, so why not. Moreover, with this jacket you can kill two birds with one stone (phew, how I hate this phrase), as it also goes with the military trend quite nicely. Plus it’s dark green, and I love every shades of green right now. On the other hand, a blazer is classic as it comes, but the ruched sleeves and this deep marron color makes it trendy and fall worthy at the same time.
Fugly brown cardi, because there’s something tempting in this color, and plush cobalt blue tracksuit! If Vetements says plush tracksuit, it’s gonna be so. Full stop. And just FYI, it’s also available in navy blue and pink, but probably this is the most interesting color of all, and I still have a thing for weird color combinations.
Simple rocky tee and stripy tee with laces. I guess these choices don’t require more…
Every fashion brand has it’s own version of deconstructed/statement jeans at this point, so does Mango, and they got the color and fade right. Plus black cropped flares with frayed hems. Cropped flares are going nowhere either.
The bottoms of that velvet tracksuit (I’m still shockingly amazed), and the coolest mini what’ve seen for a while. Super cool!
And these shoes! And the boots! I have a serious crash over the shoes on the left, and actually they’re quite comfy too, but have higher heels, what my feet would accept. I could cry, but I won’t as I don’t have a penny (and this is just the beginning of the month, bah).
Probably the bag department is the weakest in Mango right now (and for a while). This one was the best I could spot, but it’s more like a compulsion than well, anything else. And finally chockers. I’m still not convinced, but they’re cheap, not too kitsch and trendy, so why not?
Which one is your favorite?
