So it seems London got the memo already, because the weather turned into rainy, grey fall all of the sudden.Gosh, I always forgot this side of fall. It’s a bit depressing, but if we have some luck and can believe the weather app, summer will kick in once again.
Anyway, having checked fall/winter trends again, it’s time to take a look at the offerings of high street fashion, and this time I decided to start with Swedish brand, H&M.
Everything is from the Trend, Preium and Accesories section as imho these are the best.
Lets start with jackets and coats. I think a good coat or jacket is like a good bag. You have to invest in, but you can wear it forever and ever looking cool and put together.
Exactly what this leather jacket can offer. It looks seriously cool and made of 100% leather. It’s also a forever classic, so you just cannot do wrong with it. The camel coat is more or less the same category, but has a more grown up feel to it.
To have something cheaper and very trendy right now, you have to buy a bomber and a denim jacket too, but again, I don’t think a good denim jacket could go out of style.
Pink fluffy cashmere knit and rocky tee, both of them are right up my alley, even though I’ve never considered myself a pinky girly girl. But what works, that works. And these will work forever (or until they fall apart :)).
Another big trend is retro sporty tops with zippery neck and an oversized hoodie in burgundy of course. Did I mention how much I like burgundy?
Vetements kinda jeans, which have an interesting fit if you ask me (and no streching), or it’s just my shape (the waist was pretty big, while the hip/bum area pretty thight, and that was my usual size), but then where can a girl with some curves buy nice jeans? I mean other than Levi’s? But otherwise it looks good, and if you have straighter figure, they’ll be fine. But probably that would be no issue with these trackpants, they would look good down on the hips as well. 🙂
Leather jeans. It’s a classic must if you fancy a bit rockier style. These are again 100% leather so they’re pricy (200 quid), but a faux leather will do just fine too. And ok this dress is not a bottom, even though it has a bottom part. I like the color and I can totally see it over jeans or leather pants.
Well, H&M’s shoe collection is not too strong (yet?), so I had no choice but chose these two pumps, one in classic black, and the other (sale) ones in burgundy.
Small cool bag with houndstooth print and elastic sporty belt. I really dig both of them on the photos, but I’d like to seem them in person as well.
Nice and pretty cheap (14 quid?) leather gloves and a bunch of cool socks in nice colors which go well with everything above and make every look a bit more sporty or girly which is a must either way. And I won’t mention the comfort factor they can give, ok? 🙂
And lets see some outfits with these (and only with these) items.
Hope you like my little collection! Do you? 🙂
