Finally I’m starting to catch up with myself, and I can show you what I bought in the last 2 weeks. What clothes, to be exact as I already showed you my new bag and ballet flats, which btw could be spotted on my Instagram (and Instagram Stories) already. 🙂
First of all this Mango coat. They call it trench I call it duster, but it’s like a mix of an old school chemistry teacher’s lab coat and a cowboy’s duster. At least these things come to my mind when I look at it. Anyway, I really dig the tobacco color, the full linen fabric, the longer length and the slit in the back. The quintessential of the fugly trend which I like so much, but still, the best thing is – wait for it – it was on 57% off. A Real Catch!
I was struggling for a long while with the question ‘what the hell should I wear on top?’, and I think I got the answer finally. I tried and tried, but still don’t like cardigans(I’m fine with jumpers though :)). If it was possible I sticked with my tee + leather jacket combo, but you can’t wear leather jacket all the time, especially if the weather gets warmer, but not too warm. So here you are, this coat is my answer to that suffocating question (till the end of September I guess).
Secondly some tee, because you know how much I love tees. My other answer to the above mentioned question. Statement vintage or vintage like tees if you will, in all of the colors of the rainbow.
- One of them is from Zara, and it’s yellow! And it couldn’t be more yellow I guess. I was thinking on it a bit, but the cool color, the even cooler print, the 100% cotton fabric and the £6 price eventually won me over. I also like that it’s pretty short, so it’s perfect with all my high waisted vintage jeans.
- The second is the vintage like printed grey one by Sainsbury’s (which you could see already here and here). From the men’s section to be exact. It’s also made of 100% cotton, had a rather cheap price (£9), and I love the color combo too. And if you ask me, it’s the best with the sleeves rolled up!
- And two more vintage tee with funny neck from Urban Outfitters. Yes, don’t even mention it. Probably I bought them all (on sale of course). But what a girl can do when the colors are so fine (one of them is brick red, the other one is turquoise which you could see here), the cut is so weirdly cool and the price is again £6 each (after the 75% discount which is pretty ridiculous if you ask me, but oh well).
And finally another pair of deconstructed vintage jeans by Urban Outfitters. Because they’re too cool for school. OMG, I’m in love again. I’d had my eyes on this pair for a while, but couldn’t buy because it was on the mannequin and they couldn’t take it off.
Anyway, last time when I was there, it laid on the top of a big pile (they might just take it off?), and I took my chance to try them on. It was big (boyfriend jeans kinda big) and long (of course), but the color combo, the fit, the extra high waist and the denim(s) were all great. So I had bought it, and transformed it. I took in from the waist, cropped the legs, frayed the hems, and now it looks like THE Vetements jeans. From the fragment of the real deal’s price. Luck or pure obsession? Bit of both? I let you decide. 🙂
And the best thing is, they all go really well with each other. I can really mix and match and it feels great. Really great. Cannot wait for making the following outfit pictures or going anywhere, or just putting something on at home. They have to be worn after all. 🙂
What do you think of my latest buys?
