So as I promised a while ago, I made a post all about the Wetland Centre in London. It’s such an amazing place, and not just because of the animals (there are a tons of water birds and bugs and you can spot some otters too :)), but because it’s a huge park where you can walk a lot, stretch your eyes (if you know what I mean in front of mobiles and notebooks all the time) and ventilate your lungs.
We had luck as well, due to the beautiful summer weather, which you can spot on these pictures as well. If you wanna go too, I suggest to use this voucher by smartsave, which gives you 20% discount from the full price (adult is around £13). Not bad, ha? 🙂
And now lets see the pictures with a few commentary (really, the photos speak for themselves), so I won’t blab so much this time, I promise ;).
The ducks were enjoying the shadow under the bushes.
Btw this is what I wore. It’s a bit rocky, isn’t it? 🙂 The tee is from Sainsbury’s and was for men originally, but I wanted something similar vintage (look a like) t-shirt and this one was £9. I love it. Paired it with denim short by Berskha, ASOS belt and trusty old Converse. Plus my new bag which you couldn’t really see here.
And all of this is inside of London (a few bus stops from Hammersmith, on the southern side of the Thames). Unbelievable, isn’t it?
This guys was such a poser. Just look at him. 🙂 We also saw a duck which was spinning on his back, preening his feathers on his belly. 😀
Black swans, I cannot tell when I saw black swans last time. 🙂
The otters were so cute, they were clearly enjoying themselves. It was feeding time, the guy behind was talking about them (I guess :)) and there were a lot of people, so this was the closest we could get. If you go there to see them from closer and hear the guy, try to go to the first one (at 11 AM) and try to arrive in time. 🙂
I hope you enjoyed this little collection of mine.
PS: Thanks Rosie the recommendation to go there, it was a pleasure. 🙂 Oh, and thanks for the photos too!
