Maybe I haven’t been so active recently here on the blog like I used to. I need some me time, organising my thoughts and my life, and yes, I also take advantage of the beautiful summer weather that we’re experiencing right now. Plus in the meantime I’m preparing myself to the autumn as well. But still, this doesn’t mean I don’t keep my eyes open or go to check the newest offerings. Something has changed since I have this blog, and I always document everything interesting I see. 🙂
On the other hand, there’s not too much going on in fashion world lately. I think most of the people are in the very same situation; clinging to summer, and refusing how fast fall is approaching. Until we can, until the beginning of September or so. Not that fashion brands would chill though. The big piles of sales clothes now are giving their place to the newest collections. And that’s interesting enough to watch anyway. Isn’t it? 🙂
So lets start with Topshop, and ok, I admit this is actually the basement in Oxford Street (again), because the best stuff are there. One of the best vintage selection, too bad they realise this too. The price tags are pretty hefty… but maybe we can take this as an investment, right?
Exactly like this leather jacket. It’s the dreamiest I’ve ever seen. I love all the details, from the zippers to the quilted sleeves. The leather is yummy too, but the price tag was around £200 which is an investment indeed.
I’m not sure I would wear this dress, but it was so nice and had such a Gucci feel, that I just had to take a photo of it. Maybe with vintage jeans under it and those leather jacket over it? Hmm…
I’m in love with the kimonos and kaftans too, but then again, the prices are around £85… Maybe if I’ll have extra 85 quid. Is there such a thing at all?
Yes, the good old Zara again. Since I bought those ballerinas we’re closer again. Not too close, but close enough to visit again. 🙂
A Vetements like tracksuit anybody? I liked the color, the fit and the price too, but not the fabric. It couldn’t have been more plastic I guess… But the boots were nice. Actually I want something like this (love the color!), but I’m not convinced on these.
However, I’m more convinced on these guys. Glittery sock boots, OMG! And have a much more pleasant price tag too (these cost £40 while the tan ones £80 I think). True that, those are made of leather. And apparently I love shoes the most as I tried one more on. These slippers are not bad at all, they’re made of beige suede and can be worn backless as well. The price was around £30 which is – again – not bad.
And finally some stuff from Urban Outfitters. Maybe I don’t look for clothes in Zara because I want everything from here (and Mango and Topshop basement) :), but then again the prices are way beyond sometimes. 🙁
There’s something what I find appealing in these sheer dresses, but the £50 price always put me off. I mean, these are plastic sheer dresses after all. What on earth cost 50 quid on these? 50! Or more, it seems I already wiped the exact amount out. 🙂 Actually Zara has similar pieces but with nicer prices.
On the other hand, this bomber was marked down to 10 quid. 10! While the sheer dresses… ok, I stop, I couldn’t believe it. Such a bargain, isn’t it? And it wasn’t faulty. I loved the fabric, the colors (it had a nice vibrant orange color inside!) and the price obviously, but not the fit. It made me so bulky that I just couldn’t justify this price either. And I have one bomber already anyway, so probably somebody else got lucky with it. 🙂 And finally some more vintage. The tee with the funny neck, this time in gorgeous turquoise color, and a pair of worn down Levi’s 501 which I couldn’t leave in the store. If something is that perfect…
